Definition of messaging bit

The messaging section is an additional serial data transmission possibility with a predefined bit width of 2 bits.

The data are saved serial during 18 transmission cycles in the ECU and results in a 36 bit data word.

That means that the complete transmission time of one data word is 18-times longer than the data transmission cycle.

The setting is done directly in the corresponding field of the BUS-Configuration-window.

Thereby:

1. the amount of bit have to be set

2. the parameter DataRangeInitialization is set to false.
