SensorSignal

Description

Value

Predefined

xSignal[0]

Placeholder of a defined signal with automatic index combined with the parameter Name.

The field is filled automatically and cannot be edited.

Signal

Bitoffset

Number of bits, which are not used for the data value.

Direct value input.

0

CS_Number

Assignment to the CS signal and therefore to the connected sensor.
CS0=1. sensor, CS1=2. sensor, CS2=3. sensor, CS3=4.sensor.

Direct value input of the decimal number, which results from the bit code:

0001 = input value 1 = CS0 - assigned to the 1. sensor,

0010 = input value 2 = CS1 - assigned to the 2. sensor,

0100 = input value 4 = CS2 - assigned to the 3. sensor,

1000 = input value 8 = CS3 - assigned to the 4. sensor,

0000 = 0 = no CS line assigned

0

DecoderMask

Mask of the used bits of the master data commands. Detailed description 0x0
DecoderValue Reading commands of getting the signal values. Detailed description 0x0
Description Addtional text field for description the signal (only been shown here) Direct input Description
Name Freely selectable, textual description of the signal. The uniqueness is done by the automatic index [0], therefore it is possible to set the same description several times.

Direct input

Signal
Offset Offset of the signals with a value of the unit. This enables an optimal display of all signals at the presentation window. Direct value input of the unit (standard LSB) 0

PlotfillMode

Kind of line presentation

Selection form the list

None

PlotLineColour

Colour of the line

Selection form the list

DeepPink

PlotLineStyle

Style of line

Selection form the list

Solid

PlotLineWidth

Width of line

Direct entry in pt,

1

PlotPointcolor

Colour of the value point

Selection form the list

DeepPink

PlotPointStyle

Kind of the value point

Selection form the list

None

PlotVisible

Selection whether the line resp. signal is displayed or not

True = Signal is visible

False = Signal is hidden

True

Scale

Scale factor, which calculates the incoming measurement signal to the line value.
Factor 1 means, that the input voltage of +/- 10 V is sampled directly. Factor 2 means, that the real input value was divided by two before injection. This allows the presentation of the real voltage relations out of the Simulyzer.

Direct value input as a factor.

1

SignalDescriptor

Further textual signal description.

Not editable - predefined with the parameter Name.

Signal

Data width

Number of bits of the data frame (data value + status + error detection bits).

Direct value input

10

Number Representation

Format of the data value (see sensor data sheet of the manufacturer).

Selection list:

TwoComplement or

SignedMagnitude Value

TwoComplement

Signed

Definition of signed signal.

True=Signal has negative values.

False=Signal only has positive values.

True

SoftwareChannel

Definition whether the signal is FPGA decoded or not. If the signal is comming from the hardware channel, the signal can be triggered. (see trigger).

True=Software channel signal

False=Hardware channel signal

False

TextDisplayFormat

Display format of the data value in the sensor data window.

Selection list:

hex=hexadecimal

dec=number

phys=Physical value

hex

Unit

Freely selectable description of the physical value, which is meassured. The setting is used for the settings of the axes.

Direct input

LSB
